Sarchu camping is for folks who want to camp between the mountains to enjoy a star-studded sky😍

The best time to visit mountains and fully enjoy their beauty is obviously during winters. I visited last year to Himachal Pradesh and it was such a wonderful experience to cherish.

The most exciting part of my trip was when we halted at the Leh-Manali Highway and discovered an amazing camping location called Sarchu. The camps were comfortable, and the experience of camping in between the mountains was serene.

The food was yummy, especially the chai and Maggi. The location was nothing less than being in the lap of nature.

About Sarchu :

Sarchu (also known as Sir Bhum Chun) is a major halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh in India.

Sarchu experiences winters in the months of October to May. Temperature ranges between a freezing -35°C to 3°C. Winters last till February in Sarchu.

Here comes the most beautiful and amazing part which was the star gazing at night 😍.

It was a once in a life time experience to watch a sky full of stars in a pretty never seen before color. The slow breezes were the cherry on the top.
